In Ain al-Tineh, caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati stated after meeting with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, "We held a joint meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri and former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt to discuss the critical situation facing Lebanon. We affirmed our agreement to condemn the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, which has led to the martyrdom of many Lebanese."

He added, "The ongoing crimes of the enemy have exceeded all limits, and it seeks to drag the region into the flames of a regional war."

The Cabinet has taken it upon itself to protect and support Middle East Airlines to ensure the continuation of its flights.

For their part, the Maronite bishops condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression, calling on the international community to act immediately to implement a ceasefire and enforce Resolution 1701.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres emphasized during a Security Council session on Lebanon that "it is time to break the cycle of escalation and implement the international resolution 1701." In the same context, Lebanon's representative to the Security Council, Hadi Hashem, warned of "the extension of the war in the region to include multiple fronts," stating, "We are heading toward a regional war without controls." Hashem added during an emergency Security Council meeting, "We are prepared to enhance the army's presence in the south."

Regionally, the Israeli army admitted to the deaths of eight Israeli officers and soldiers, with 35 others wounded in battles in southern Lebanon.

Israeli Chief of Staff stated, "We have the capability to reach any location in the Middle East and strike any site."

On another note, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, after meeting with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha during his first foreign visit, asserted that "destabilizing the region is not in the interest of Europeans or the United States." Concurrently, the Emir of Qatar noted that "the aggression against Lebanon is ongoing and puts the entire region on the brink, and the recent escalation in Lebanon is what we warned against since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza."

Iraqi President called for a collective international effort to immediately halt Israeli operations in Gaza and Lebanon.

An Israeli attack was recorded on a building in the Mezzeh neighborhood of Damascus, resulting in casualties and injuries.

Internationally, U.S. President Joe Biden stated, "We will impose sanctions on Iran, and we do not support attacks on Iranian nuclear sites." He added, "We will discuss with the Israelis what they will do and agree on their right to respond, but it must be proportional."

Meanwhile, China urged "Israel" to exercise restraint and refrain from any actions that could jeopardize peace.
